Mission Statement

The Tufts Israeli Culture Club is dedicated to celebrating and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Israel. Our mission is to create an inclusive and welcoming community that fosters cultural awareness, appreciation, and understanding. We strive to provide a space where students from all backgrounds can come together to explore the diverse traditions, art, music, dance, cuisine, and history of Israel, while respecting the apolitical nature of our conversations. Through engaging events and activities, we aim to build lasting connections and friendships, leaving a positive impact on the Tufts University community.

Club Goals

Cultural Celebration: Organize a diverse range of events that showcase the beauty and essence of Israeli culture
Inclusivity: Foster an inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds feel welcome to participate and engage in discussions about Israeli culture.
Positive Representation: Represent Israeli culture positively and accurately, dispelling misconceptions and stereotypes.
Apolitical Space: Maintain a strictly apolitical environment within the club to focus on cultural exploration and avoid discussions related to all other Israeli Politics.
Community Building: Build a strong and supportive community by creating opportunities for meaningful interactions, connections, and friendships among our members.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other cultural and student organizations on campus to promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
Leadership and Growth: Provide opportunities for club members to take on leadership roles, develop their skills, and contribute to the club's growth and success.
Outreach and Impact: Engage with the broader Tufts University community and Israeli community through outreach initiatives, cultural events, and educational programs to increase awareness and appreciation of Israeli culture.
